About Airsoft
All about Australian Airsoft, OZ1 (Oscar Zulu One) is Australia's first active airsoft team. Partnering with local and domestic teams, local vendors, ANZ partners, teams and nations; OZ1 travels annually to the closest legal destination of airsoft: Aotearoa, New Zealand.
What started off as 5 adventurous Aussies travelling in 2014 to see what airsoft was like, each year we now have up to 100+ travelling players.
A team diverse but united, we have played with people from all over the world including NZ, the UK, US, Canada, New Caledonia, Tahiti, Brazil, Romania and of course our Australian force.

At the Helm
Josh "Spoony" Mac
Josh founded the team with Cal in 2014 and has been generating events ever since. With 15+ years fighting for Airsoft in Australia and the last 11 playing in NZ, work is put in all year round each event to ensure success.
As team founder and CO of the OZ1 force each year, Josh puts the work in all year round for each annual trip. Send him an email sometime.

Alpha Company 2IC India31 is a NSW country boy with exposure to the Australian Defence Force.
India31 is the boots-on-the-ground leader of OZ1 working closely with Cal and Josh on operational activities.
Commander Cal "SolReaper"
Cal has close to (or more than) 20 years with the cause, fighting for Airsoft legalisation and awareness in Australia since day dot. Cal founded the team with Josh in 2014 and retired (from organising) after 10 years of solid work including organising 2 Trilogies and a 2020 trip to Thailand (there are some stories). The original Commander, Cal continues to strap in when practical under the OZ1 Banner.
OZ1 Airsoft Australia has been operating since 2014, creating an opportunity for Australians to participate in annual events in Christchurch. Since it's inception, the team's goal has remained the same: to be Australia's first active airsoft team.
